A night at the ball park

We received free tickets to a AAA baseball game and took the boys on friday night. Isaiah had been looking forward to going all week. That day he couldn't even nap because he knew after he woke up we would be going to the game. It was a great night at the ballpark as a family. Isaiah loved it! He brought his glove hoping to catch a fly ball. All night he kept saying, "me catch ball.". And he was so disappointed when he didn't.

Advice Needed

I have been excited about each new stage my boys have gone through but I'm dreading potty training Isaiah. I don't think he's looking forward to it either. But last week he actually wanted to get some big boy underwear and he picked out his own toilet seat. So I went with it. Today while he was napping I set his new seat on the toilet and laid out his new underwear. He was more interested in putting the seat on his head and he wouldn't even put on his underwear because he said they were too tight. I don't think this is going to be easy. So I'm seeking advice from some of you seasoned mom's out there who have gone through this. Where do I start? What do I do?

With much anticipation

I have been thinking about this day, this post for sometime now. Honestly the only reason I didn't start earlier was because I couldn't think of a name for my blog or figure out how to create one. But thanks to my wonderful sister in-law, Ona, I have a background and a few pictures. There will be more to come as soon as I figure it out. It can't be that hard, after all I did graduate from nursing school. As far as a name, I have chosen to name my blog, "This is our Story". We all have a story, it's how we've gotten to where we are and who we've become. I hope to tell our story to family and friends and whoever happens to stumble upon this blog. More importantly I hope pass on my faith to the next generation, to tell my story to my children. That they may know and rely on Gods love and faithfulness.

"O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come." Psalm 71:18
